Paul

Aloha guys and welcome back to my Wellness Wishlist, this is Pauly at your service.   Today’s wellness titbit is surrounding travel and the great many benefits that can offer yourself your personality and your body. I'm just going to throw a couple of scientifically proven effects that travel can have on the body, for example trouble exposes you to different environments which then increases stronger antibodies and boost your immune system.  And we all know that from past guests including Natasja Fox she has a little bit of a catch cry or mantra' that you lose by, which is eat clean and live dirty.  If you surround yourself to different environments that you haven't grown up in necessarily your body, your mind and your biology of microbiome will become more intelligent hence more flexible, it's those that wrap themselves in cotton wool that end up getting sick over and over again.  The next one is perhaps a little bit obvious but it's worth reiterating to you all, traveling is going to lower your stress levels there have been studies out there that have proved this and they found that after three days after vacation, travellers have felt well rested less anxious and in a better mood.  These improvements didn't disappear when I returned home it lasted for a few weeks afterwards it's being able to retain that disposition for a longer period of time, which is the challenge.  One last little piece of information, which I'm particularly interested in and you may be as well, is the various different locations on this earth that have medicinal healing properties. I've discussed with guests in the past the energy vortexes that exist along this earth and they come up in a number of different places in Egypt in the United States, in Hawaii, in New Zealand, I'm actually about to interview somebody who is an authority on these energetic vortexes, her interview will be launched in the coming weeks, so keep an ear out for that. But onto this week's interview its with a lady by the name of Angie Hilton, she's been on a miraculous journey herself. She's had a past where she's battled with mental illness and she has come out the other side by exploring different modalities of well-being and being able to just be curious about her position in this life and world.  She's a truly remarkable person.  I hope you enjoyed the interview, Angie is one-of-a-kind, she is a lovely gal and has a lot to share about her journey.  Now, the format of this interview is slightly different to previous ones.  Angie also has a blog and a website called “Destination Happiness” and we decided to take a little bit of a unique stance on this, it's kind of a free-flowing conversation between both our takes on life, it's just a discussion really, about our takes unhappiness and take some well-being and I hope you enjoy guys, I speak about my life energy speaks about hers and I hope you guys get something out of it, here we go. Take 74…

Angie

This could be the funniest morning I've ever had; it's like a comedy of errors.

Paul

Quite, quite possibly

Angie

Everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong

Paul

Yes

Angie

And we're not starting to think that this is not meant to be

Paul

No, no, no, no we’re down to genuine 1984 technology here.  We have tried, what have we tried here? We tried the canon.

Angie

The canon I left that the battery at home

Paul

We tried what we tried to make it here in the first place

Angie

Yes, well I went to the wrong address, completely wrong address

Paul

GPS never trust them

Angie

No not the GPS it was the person that touches but we won't go there.

Paul

Tools, let’s find the tools

Angie

The tools but then we use the new microphone and someone rang with conversation that cut that out.

Paul

Yup that didn't work.

Angie

Then we tried skype.

Paul

Then we're gonna skype each other with me in my studio and Angie right here that didn't work for some reason.

Angie

We forgot, we tried using the gopro

Paul

Oh of course

Angie

And that sound really well

Paul

It was an action sports, I thought I was going to be on a red bull video clip, that was gonna be amazing

Angie

And then we just went dead because the SD card was full and I couldn't get off the SD card, anyway

Paul

Here we are

Angie

And we have wellness at heart

Paul

We have wellness and and we an Iphone infront of us

Angie

And I’m feeling frazzled how are you?

Paul

I'm okay, Im okay

Angie

We need to do an aum or something, Aum………. , that's much better.

Paul

Nice, calmness in a storm in fact this is actually quite indicative of if I view this as a layaway this is quite indicative of I spent a good six month period in India learning to cultivate mindfulness on a top of the mountain tops

Angie

Oh my god that was my dream

Paul

And it was beautiful, it was stunning, and I, you know, quite frankly didn't want to leave but my challenge came in china bring it back

Angie

Bring it back into the world

Paul

Absolutely

Angie

That’s so hard

Paul

And this feels like it's quite indicative of that challenge so, here we are trying to create calmness, just you, me and an iphone 6

Angie

Yes I think we've done it I can feel it washed over my hands

Paul

Beautiful

Angie

Anyway we came together for a reason through a friend, through a mutual friend for a love of wellness and well-being, now, I want to pick your brain anddid you want my brain.

Paul

Correct, this is just going to be kind of a two-way interview, we're going to be wrapping it's going to be, it's going to bebeautiful.

Angie

What kind of wrap is that anyway moving right along

Paul

Angie you have an amazing website that is up and running and I was really quite inspired but I when I jumped on it.  You've broken wellness down to a few different points through travel, through finding harmony, through various different wellness pursuits.  Do you want to talk about how you actually came, this kind of vision?

Angie

Hmm, ok well the idea itself came about, I guess the the whole crux behind it all was about my struggle with mental health, early, well it was late in my twenties actually but, so I had a really severe bad depression anxiety and had to crawl out of that hole and it was severe I couldn't eat, I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t function really I have to set to move home with my parents and start again. And I made it my mission to just find out what got me into that place how I could get out of it and how I could stay out of it so, I studied you know, every self-help book, I went to every kind of therapist and healer, and tried everything and bit by bit, gradually, gradually I did come out of it and one of the things that helped me the most when I was in the thick of it was hearing other people share their story and I thought if I ever feel like I've got this and I've got something to give back that I wanted to do the same.  So, my career at the moment well has been in tv so as a travel presenter on a few different shows and I thought would  it be fantastic if I could combine what I love as in the mental health and the health and well-being sort of things with what I know how to do.  So I came up with a concept for a TV show to start with and that was Destination Happiness. Then I got talking to our mate owen andhe said, “well why don't you make it not just a tv show, you make it a website and social media and that sort of thing, so I thought okay open your mind ,so really started with the website and that's up and running.

Paul

Amazing

Angie

Only just, so we’re still a work in progress but the sections within it, happy travels, which is all about wellness travel. Happy eating so studying, you know, what's good for the body and all different diet types and cleansingthat sort of thing, happy bodies, so, any kind of movement that just get you feeling good.   We're just going to road-test lots of different exercises.  Happy homes, so like this beautiful home of yours, it's got the beautiful energy about it, so, how do you create that, inviting space that you just want to stay in.  What else is there, happy, happy, happy minds, that's a big one happy minds is a whole segment itself.

Paul

Oh it's a filter in which we see everything

Angie

The whole world isn’t it?

Paul

And what struck me when we first got on the phone together was the synchronicity that the both of us have had in our journey, you know obviously it's deviated from time, you know it's manifested differently for both of us but I've had, I suppose anxieties manifest physically for myself.  I've had a lot of nervous twitches that have been perhaps something socially acceptable some of been socially a little bit you know, NQR and I guess the challenge has been for me to understand what they represent to me

Angie

Was that from a young age?

Paul

Yeah, was from a very young age

Angie

And on what stage did you start to look at how can I work with this, what it is teaching me.

Paul

I think what happened was, I don't think I ever really considered myself as a subtled press whatever you would like to label it.  A child that I definitely dealt with anxiety and I learned to, I guess deal and function in a day-to-day society around school kids and my peers and all that type of stuffand then once I kind of moved into my profession, which is the health and fitness world I became fascinated by what the human body could do and then my natural tendency and interests gravitated towards that mind-body relationship and through my study into the mind-body relationship I really, really started to tap into what my body was doing and the why’s of why I was doing it and it was a fascinating journey for me and still it's still it’s an incredibly fascinating journey.

Angie

Yes and we need to let that mind-body connection actually I listened to one of your podcast, which was very fascinating about the Iceman that you just

Paul

Oh Wim Hoff

Angie

Oh my gosh,

Paul

Just do it, yeah

Angie

What an experience.  Can you tell me a little bit with that

Paul

Wim’s an incredibly charismatic blood and the thing I love about wim is, I mean you know he's got all his physical pursuits, he’s broken 25-plus records and that's all great but he's the first person to, to really acknowledge that, that is all smoke and mirrors, really the reason he does these is to prove to the world that your mind-body relationship is it when it comes to what you're capable on and I guess a human being like him was so, he has such a conviction to be able to achieve this result for decade after decade he was told he was a crazy man

Angie

Really

Paul

Yeah, absolutely like nutsm should be in a mental asylum and he had this pursuit any he knew it was this burning fire within him that he knew, he needed to share this with world and change modern medicine the way we see it and to his credit he's just, he is changing the medical textbooks, it's incredible to be able to be injected with a bacteria and by only using the power of your mind reverse the effects of it

Angie

Oh my god

Paul

Yeah, he is proving to the world that the autonomic nervous system that we all believed function quite a cult without will is is now not the case

Angie

Wow, what an eye opener for you to experience that first hand and I heard you talking about he can sit in an ice bath and actually raise his body temperature with the power of his mind

Paul

It was incredible

Angie

Did you walk away being able to do that?

Paul

What did I do, I will tell you like after I did that interview with him and then I sit in that ice bath under his supervision for about I don't know, I think it was about 10-12 minutes and it was bloody cold outside as well and as I was sitting there we happen to be outside in an angle see, which was in june, july which was pretty damn cold to begin with but there was a fire going on in the the background just a bon fire

Angie

Just to tease you

Paul

Yeah, exactly, well what I intended to do is tap into that bonfire and the heat of that fire and will try to channel it almost within, oh yeah it felt like I wasn't hooked up to anything but I definitely was able to, I found that being surrounded by such an extreme sensation line cold and ice it was able to create mindfulness to such an extent that you couldn't, you're mind couldn’t deviate, yeah there was no choice for it to just be on the task immediately.

Angie

Well, the fact that you could stay in an ice bath for any more than 10 seconds tells you it's all about the power of the mind doesn't it?

Paul

Yeah, yeah it really does, it was really, really cool

Paul

Where are you planning on travelling like over the next

Angie

Look, what sort of in pre-production with the TV shows sort of things so we're just researching all the, the wellness destinations around Australia to start with and then hopefully overseas

Paul

I mentioned going to Queensland, I'm going to northern Queensland next week

Angie

You're going to, out for a treat?

Paul

I'm not, I'm not but I am going to northern Queensland I'm going to be there for nine weeks so, we'll talk maybe

Angie

9 weeks

Paul

Not 9 weeks sorry 9 days, 9 nights, 9 nights, 9 weeks, yeah right.  Yeah 9 nights so I'm gonna go explore some wellness

Angie

Oh, yeah film some stuff for us.

Paul

Yeah, yeah, yeah, totally will, I totally will

Angie

I’d love to go experience Queen Garnet or Gondola or Gaia Retreat, all those. Say, we've got some people in the different categories, we got an expert in each category because I'm not an expert in anything I said I’ll do the travel part I'll do the heavy travels and no one else wants to do it, I’ll do it

Paul

Shame

Angie

Lucky I’m not an expert, so I’m an expert, well not expert but I do travel a lot with the work I do anyway.  We're going to show that mile cove what's up down and

Paul

Amazing

Angie

Which is channel 10

Paul

Fantastic

Angie

Caravan and camping all around Australia

Paul

Awesome I have a friend that is going on that as well, Candy Hurts, I try just nice and easy about

Angie

Candy, is she’s about to steal my job?

Paul

No, I don't know, actually I just dropped a name and I have no idea whatsoever if she's actually working on that.

Angie

It could be mused to me

Paul

I don’t know it was a long time ago anyway.

Angie

Now, where are we heading with all this? What fascinates me is because you've got to do one, the whole india or experience it was meditation for me was what really, it gave me a foundation that I one side sort of studied all that self-help, the tools and then I found meditation and I thought oh, this is what I need to know that I can deal with the harder times in life.  If I can meditate regularly I know I think it gives you a little bit of a distance between your reactionin the moment don’t you find?

Paul

Oh, totally

Angie

And my dream was to go to India and do that but we've got two children now and I think that time will come but

Paul

Oh absolutely

Angie

But I’m taking to, a nine and a seven-year-old to India to meditate, this is not their fly right now.

Paul

Maybe not right now but it’s amazing how, you know, we were talking earlier about creating peace in a peaceful environment and then creating peace in a chaotic environment and you know, there's no greater place than India to be able to have those two parallels.  I was meditating for months on top of a mountain in darumasala surrounded by Tibetan monks but then bring it back down to Delhi where you are like personal space is just not an optional so, like creating

Angie

Were you able to transition?

Paul

I was and you know it definitely was a process but it's, it just teaches you compassion, empathy and all the principles I learned through these meditation techniques and these courses, these meditation workshops that I did up in darumasala, it’s a shivameditation institute, that would,  they empower me, so unbelievably and I think, you know you were talking about the actual meditation itself, being able to pry you to deal with scenariosthat are challenging

Angie

Whatever, did you just know what life throws at you day-to-day

Paul

Absolutely, just gives you a moment to kind of step back and give you perspective and it's kind of going ok, yeah, I'm going to not freak out and what they call on meditation, the meditation world monkey mind, jumping from one place to another, just going to take a, take a moment have a mindful pause and put things into perspective

Angie

Yes, what would you say you're go to meditation is what’s your favourite?

Paul

Just Samatha, which is single-minded focus, simplicity for me is always best.  So, to be able to concentrate on a single object for a period of time, which can extend

Angie

So for people who have never heard of Samatha how would you explain that if they were to try it?

Paul

So, Samatha really translates thereabouts from Sanskrit to english into single-minded focus and to be able to achieve samatha you just focus on a single object, I often use breath being that object and you simply close your eyes get into a position where you are comfortable, you know generally speaking spine should be straightened up right and you concentrate on, on that single object and then the challenge comes in not to judge when inevitably your mind is going to distract

Angie

Yes, hundred percent just bringing yourself back to that focus isn't it?

Paul

Absolutely

Angie

And I mean when you were starting at it too I read an analogy it's like if planted a seedling and you really need to nurture  when you're starting out, its you've really got to just be kind to yourself and know that it might feel hard your mind might feel so busy but any meditations is good meditation.  That's what I'm

Paul

Absolutely,

Angie

Yeah

Paul

Or without

Angie

You can sit there for half an hour and your mind can be “brrrrr” the whole time but you know still when you come out of it it could have been, uh yeah that's why I do that

Paul

Absolutely and and I think you know people that first sit down and begin meditating there'll be like all this is too difficult for me

Angie

Yeah, I can’t still my mind

Paul

I can't still my mind will be, you know

  1. putting way too much pressure on yourself
  2. the very essence in the fact that you are aware that your mind is darting around the place

That is a perspective and an element of self-awareness that one of us don't have.  So, someone that you know, goes to meditate falls asleep for half-an-hour wakes up and they're like alright, that's you know, that's something that you don't have that aspect of self-awareness to be able to say, you know my mind is doing this, my mind is doing that.  So, ultimately I suppose if you, if there is a destination to achieve it’s to get to the gap between your thoughts but for many of us it is, it's not, it's the, what's that saying of being told from time to time it's not the it's not the pursuit of happiness it’s the happiness of pursuit

Angie

I like that, I don’t know that

Paul

Yeah it's a good one, it’s just, you know, enjoy the ride

Angie

Now, tell me are you, I turned 42 the other day, two days ago

Paul

Congratulations

Angie

Thank You, yeah I made it but I thought was a rut, I've made up this far and I thought that went like that 42 years and like that, and I thought if I wanted to go through the next 42 years I need to start

Paul

(inaudible)

Angie

And yes (inaudible) I need to pay more attention to my body a lot.  I’ve been studying my mind for the last 10 years and I've been not too bad with the health side of things but it's like this year I need to know what's going on, what I need to do to stay strong, physically, mentally, spiritually, everything but with your fitness background and health background, what’s a great starting point?

Paul

I think an excellent starting point is meditation like I'm

Angie

That’s the only one I've got covered

Paul

Great! So, you’re covered that's an excellent starting point the reason I say meditation is because every single one of us are unique incredible amazing beings on this earth and to be able to jump on the internet and download a mp3 saying this, you know seven minute ab busting workout is going to be the way that it's going to, you know, the key to happiness for every person on the phase of this earth, I mean it's not the case because we need to have that element of self-awareness to be able to tap in to what makes us as an individual drive then you need the vocabulary the professional, vocabulary to be able to apply to that but if you can have that awareness to be able to say I:

a. enjoy this form of exercise

b. I feel like I'm you know I'm I'm getting something constructive out of it

c. I'm just like I'm looking better and feeling better

I'm doing all these things that is helping me serve, serve myself that's they're gonna be amazing, amazing things

Angie

Yeah, I don't want, I just don't want to feel strong I'm not like really trying to lose weight or such as, I just want to feel like my body's in great condition and I haven't felt that for quite a while

Paul

Oh, look one thing I will say so, self-awareness is a, is an excellent platform to leverage off but that being said obviously there are certain things that you can do that can really, really ensure that you are taking the right steps towards a healthy vessel and one is movement, whatever type of movement.

Angie

So, whatever you’re drawn to

Paul

Whatever you’re draw

Angie

Whatever works for you’re personality

Paul

Absolutely

Angie

Because gyms don’t really pull me towards it

Paul

Something tells me you'd be more of a nature

Paul

Hiking

Angie

It was alright, all I intend to do is walk with my girlfriends and chitchat, chat, chat, chat, walk around the river that's my exercise at the moment but I think I should be doing more like weight lifting

Paul

So, if you want to do some more resistance work I mean there's no reason why you can't do that adding nature, there's no reason why you can't getting back the risk of you know, I'm just thinking laterally get in touch with you, geta trial, start climbing trees and lifting up rocks

Angie

Yeah, is that move, move that

Paul

Yeah, yeah so yeah he's wonderful this like movement is a very big movement right now you know, it sounds funny that human movement is now a thing because it's probably the most natural thing we can do but people

Angie

Tend to be a little bit more inside on devices, is that what you think the changes or?

Paul

Definitely I think that you know with the advent, it's a very it's an incredible time to celebrate technology in today's day and age you know and the very fact that we can sit here and do this after trying 45 different social

Angie

Avenues of technology

Paul

Avenues of technology and we’re still pumping out an interview, that's pretty cool

Angie

And my phone hasn't died

Paul

Not yet, Not yet

Angie

It was meant to be

Paul

So, I think the fact that we can celebrate technology it just made, I feel like we're kind of at this point where we're at this prepubescent stage of technology where we're kind of like we found this thing and we’re just like, ah so exciting, we're gonna do just continuously play with it over and over

Angie

You don't know what’s the limit and

Paul

We haven't matured yet, so we don't know its limits but I think in time and with awareness we’ll learn to kind of habit work in conjunction with our natural movements

Angie

Yes and know that we should only probably look at up for maybe half an hour and then they put it away

Paul

Absolutely

Angie

I'm guilty, you know

Paul

Yeah, I mean look with

Angie

Shaking my phone all the time

Paul

I mean we all are and there are little, there are little hacks that you can use to reduce the negative, you know, associations with you know using your phones for example I think everyone is guilty of using their phones and computers before they go to sleep

Angie

Yes and that can't be really good for your brain can it?  When you tryin to whine down and you've got this device flashing in your face, not ideal or is it?

Paul

Well scientifically it’s proven and it’s the worst thing you could possibly do it's like the one thing that will assure you a terrible night sleep

Angie

And you don’t even mean to have it beside your bed or, what is it magnetic

Paul

Some of the EMF’s I have EMF blockers

Angie

What’s an EMF

Paul

Electromagnetic

Angie

That, and you got a blocker?

Paul

I've got blockers on my phones, I’ve got blockers

Angie

How can you do that?

Paul

You can buy them

Angie

It should be on my phone, is it an app or?

Paul

No, no, no they’re little fizzy and you can also get, you can get it, yeah they're, they're definitely this, it's amazing what's out there, so you can get these types of things but also there's actually a function on the iphone that right there

Angie

Saved my brain from frying up, I should know that one

Paul

It's a blue light minimizer, so blue lights is essentially is the type of light that the sun emits when you when you wake up and it stimulates serotonin and cortisol and all these chemicals in your brain and saying wake up enjoy the day, be productive but when the sun goes down melatonin is produced and it's saying chill

Angie

Calm down people

Paul

Chill out people yo, let your body mend for the day getting to a bit, so we confuse the body when we got all these bright lights some of us are watching TV whilst iPads in our hands and iPhones in the other

Angie

Oh yeah, guilty

Paul

Yeah, like we all like you do what you can and if you had these little kind of cheats to be able to achieve a greater biological outcome why don't you use them

Angie

Absolutely, yes my little bedtime routine I can'tget past a radox bath

Paul

Oh it’s the best

Angie

Do you have a bath?

Paul

I actually love bath so this bath

Angie

I can’t believe, how many one has bath’s anymore?  I have one, probably have one everyday if I could but most weeknights

Paul

Oh yeah, yeah, I'm all over the buzz and most people know that like when I was looking for my, my place to fly, everyone would like go looking that were looking at for a place to buy as well, then look and that they look around and they look in the bathroom and there’s no bath I get close to be inches

Angie

Close not going to buy this

Paul

Honestly in terms of criteria

Angie

2 at my house now

Paul

2 at you?  Oh it’s amazing.  I prioritize the bath more than a roof in my place and I’m like

Angie

Oh my god, I’m we're like kindred spirits and I, and I'm shocked to the people they look at me like, what you have time for bath how do you fit even a bath, that is my time, for me the kids will go in the bed my husbands watching the football on the telly and I go, huh this is so good and I read a book or maybe I'll do a bit of my work on my phone

Paul

Amen, and since when should you ever feel guilty for being able to take some time out, recharge the battery and unwind and it's the best thing to do before you go to sleep aswell being able to

Angie

Oh yes and bottom line why stand up when you can sit down?

Paul

Absolutely

Angie

Bottom line

Paul

Well standing versus sitting for long periods of time is another whole cattle of fisht hat we can discuss

Angie

Yes, Oh yes, we do our bath here

Paul

Yes

Angie

Since you’ve come back from the Wim Hof  thing, have you filled the pool of ice?

Paul

Many times

Angie

You really have?

Paul

Oh yeah, yeah I love heat, I love hot but I also challenged my biology with, with cold because you know

Angie

Wow, that’s dedicated

Paul

Yeah, yeah, yeah I got down to the old server down the road  and I

Angie

You really do?

Paul

I did I buy four bags of ice

Angie

And is your fiancé do it too?

Paul

No, no she thinks I'm mad man

Angie

You grew up and bunkering

Paul

Pretty much think I’m a mad man but that's ok

Angie

That's an interesting actually, is she on the same spiritual healthy part that you are?

Paul

She is open to many different things, she’s by no means is, you know, self experimental as I am but, you know, like virus mostly she kind of learned this, this, this, that and the other. What about your partner?

Angie

My husband, no, I don't know, when I meet people that are in the same sort of into it as much as I am I feel like it's always come from a place of trauma in some ways or some life-changing moment that used to say, there's more to life than then what's going on and it makes you go soul-searching a little bit more, so I suppose, yeah he loves that I do it and he's very encouraging but getting him to sit down and meditate that, that's a challenge

Paul

Sure

Angie

He’s a busy man, things to do

Paul

Sure, sure and you know what like, I would never, I would never thrust something onto my fiancé I if I could say perhaps there's a particularly stressful time in her week or whatever it might be I might suggest that we do, sit down and do a meditation just to kind of like

Angie

And she would do that?

Paul

Yeah she has in the past

Angie

That’s good

Paul

Yeah, that’s been really, really advantageous and productive, which is, which is awesome, like I said she’s open, which is great

Angie

Could you tell me about this beautiful house and you’ve got this amazing energy going on, do you consciously do that or is it, can I just flash it around?

Paul

Yes, go ahead

Angie

It's just got a lovely feel to it and I love the indoor plants and it's got a gorgeous view out here but more than anything it's just got a lovely feeling I always think that's a reflection of the people living in it and what they do in it

Paul

Look we

Angie

Did you consciously do it?

Paul

Definitely, well first thing I do when I walked into this place was burn sage and just cleared out the energy

Angie

Can you tell people that don't necessarily know what that means would you go explain what that does

Paul

Yeah, sure I mean just historically I think burning sage just like I said I'm not all that of authority on burning sage but I have been told that is an excellent way of clearing out any energies that hang around here and if you want to kind of start a fresh and have your new energy present in this house and it's just a wonderful way to start fresh

Angie

Actually I did the same thing and it's new to me as well I'm learning all about this stuff but we moved into a house it’s an 1890’s house

Paul

Oh right

Angie

And every now and then, quite regularly the TV was just turn on in the middle of the night. wow I thought I think something's going on so I spoke to my friend who knew  more about this, better get yourself a stage stix, stage stick, it’s not

Paul

Sage stick

Angie

Sage stick

Paul

See sells seashells by the sea shore

Angie

(Tongue twister) And she said walk around the room saying a mantra, which I used to say masavaya, I turn to the higher self, you know someone?

Paul

I have used it in the past

Angie

Anyway, so go to every corner of the room, under the bed, in the wardrobes and this stuff is potent isn’t it? It actually smells a bit like marijuana to be honest and then when you're at the end of it all she said open all the doors and windows and say okay it's time for you to lay if you would to who made my house in a nicest possible way and I did that and then the tv it came back on again

Paul

Wow!

Angie

So

Paul

Coincidence, perhaps, perhaps not, who knows

Angie

(sings twilight zone theme)

Paul

But I love, you know whether science can explain these types of things or not I'm not particularly interested in it

Angie

Not,

Paul

I'm just interested in it creating a more meaningful experience, personal experience in my life

Angie

Me too

Paul

And it's obviously doing the same for you.  I want to keep going and I want to keep talking but I have another

Angie

But because I mock you around with all my shenanigans

Paul

No, you didn’t, you didn’t but I’m just loving this conversation so much, maybe we can do a part 2 of it

Angie

Part 2 once the show is up and running

Paul

I would love to, I would love to because I have so many questions to ask you as well, I wanted to talk to you about your travels but what, just tell me really quickly what is the number one destination you want to travel to and let's put it out into the universe and say that comes

Angie

Oh bloody mama well do you know that I love, love, love this sounds pretty, I love the Vatican City, Ive been there once before and I felt like I was just getting goose bombs and I don't know I just like holy places or spiritual places it doesn't matter what religion or spirituality I just love or I’m so drawn to them , but anywhere spiritual for me but also any way I can just go there and get pampered, massage and fed well and exercise a little bit

Paul

Yeah amazing I agree

Angie

Thank you so much for having and I love picking your brain and I've got a million more questions for you too so there's definitely part 2

Paul

A hundred percent there’s a part 2

Angie

Stay tuned

Paul

Angie

There you have it guys Angie Hilton, I consider myself very lucky for having met her and now having her in my life she's a wonderful person who is very upfront about her vulnerabilities and it's made her stronger and it's given people around her permission to explore their own vulnerability so thanks Angie. My challenge for this month has been what I call nine minutes of heaven.  It came to my attention, a couple years ago where there are some circus performers at the gym that I run my business out of and they advised me to do what they described as nine minutes of heaven and it was nine minutes of various different isometric planks that will give you the most kick ass course you could possibly imagine, so more updates on how my progress has been with that. Until next time guys be kind to each other.
